Microphotography - Textures
The images seen here are the result of mistakes in specimen preparation and crystals that just would not form properly. These images nonetheless obey the fractal geomery of nature associated with random processes and make for compelling abstracts. All of these images were photographed through polarizing microscopes. Clicking on the images below will load a gallery of 30-50 thumbnail images in the left frame. Clicking on each thumbnail in the left frame will then load a larger version of the microphoto in the central frame.
